Attending Classes
- Arrive five minutes before the session starts. Ten minutes early for new students.
- Sign In legibly at the front desk before every class you take.
- The Waiting Area Talk quietly as another class is in progress. Turn off your phone. Remove your shoes.
- Late Arrival? Wait until after opening meditation to enter the studio and unroll your mat.
- What Do You Provide? Props, mats, changing rooms, bathrooms, and storage.
- What Should I Bring? Comfortable exercise clothing, your own towel, you own mat, and a water bottle. Mats and props are available for purchase.
- New Instructor? Introduce yourself and let them know of any limitations or injuries.
- New to Yoga? Participate in an Intro Series.
- Beginning of Session In general, classes begin with a short breath meditation practice.
- During Session The facilitator leads the class through a sequence of postures (asanas) and movements (vinyasas.) No two classes are alike as each facilitator brings their unique background. Pace and intensity will depend on the level and style of the class. Please see Bios and Class Descriptions to find the right class for you.
- End of Session Classes end with final relaxation (savasana), another short period of meditation and a final blessing. Please put away all props neatly. Use sanitary wipes as needed.
- Cost First class is free. Drop-in is $12. For ongoing members, we offer various passes to fit your budget and frequency of attendance. There are no fees for use of studio props.
